Despite what you may have heard Remote Help is completely safe and it's a very powerful tool

What Is It?

Remote help is a way fixing problems without actually being there in person. This is done by simple instructions over the telephone and if needed, connecting to your computer over the internet. We can help you from anywhere in the world and will even call you back to save on your bill.

As we are now based in Spain, we still provide a lot of help to new and previous customers based in the UK.

Is It A Scam Or Dangerous?

Remote connections can and are used for scams so it is very important that you don't let just anybody on your computer without some research first.
One common scam is that you will receive a phone call from somebody claiming that they are from your bank or Microsoft etc. and then try and get access. They will usually then install some kind of virus which will lock your computer and ask you to call a very expensive hotline to fix it.
The general rule is that if someone calls you, it is likely to be a scam. Put the phone down and turn your computer off!

Security

With our remote help, actually in all cases, you can see what is happening on the screen the whole way through.
In order to connect remotely, you have to give permission by telling the person a password. The password changes every time you turn the computer off and on to keep you safe.
